Mwangaza: A partnership of education, health, family and faith

Mwangaza studentsMwangaza Partnership is a grassroots, faith-based organization that fosters a variety of learning programs, including:

  • Secondary school students
  • Secondary school teachers
  • Women's groups
  • Congregational leaders

Mwangaza Women's HealthIt engages participants from all twenty dioceses of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania and their companion synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Mwangaza has responded to their requests for professional development, community health and HIV/AIDS prevention seminars. Participants are actively engaged in seminar activities, thereby empowering them to return to their communities and train others.
