Back-to-School Book Drive

Here in America, September is back-to-school season. As we get ready to begin the new school year, we are also thinking about the students and teachers in Tanzania who are beginning another year.

There are 13 secondary schools using Mwangaza’s non-violent curriculum. These schools have Peace Clubs for students and lead trainings for faculty and parents. One of the tools in the Mwangaza toolbox is nonviolent communication (NVC).

In 2025, NVC practitioners in Arusha translated the book “Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life” by Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg into Swahili. Mwangaza would like to purchase copies of the book for students and teachers to use in Peace Clubs, Parent Trainings, and more. Each book is $10.

Will you give today so that students, teachers, and parents can learn NVC in their common language?
